Core Property Services was established in 2016 by Tasmanians Dimity and Brendon after becoming increasingly disappointed with the level of service they experienced as customers within the industry. With a genuine passion for helping people and a desire to provide a better experience, they set out to build a business based on professional service, honest advice, clear communication and, most importantly, putting customers first.

From Pest Control to Property Services
What started as a pest control business has grown into a broader property services business, built around our experience, practical knowledge and understanding of Tasmanian properties. Entering the pest control industry was always going to be an interesting challenge for Brendon, particularly given his well-known fear of spiders! Thankfully, the study and experience that followed not only helped Brendon and Dimity obtain the necessary qualifications, licensing and insurance, but also helped Brendon overcome his fear. Understanding spiders a little better was all he needed!

Since those early days, Core has grown into a trusted Tasmanian business providing professional pest management services to residential and commercial customers. Today, we're taking the next step with the introduction of pre-purchase building inspections.
This is a natural extension of our experience and passion for property.
Brendon is a qualified builder with a background in the Tasmanian building and construction industry. Combined with years of inspecting properties for pest activity and helping customers understand issues affecting their homes, this practical experience provides a strong foundation for our building inspection services.

The Next Generation
We're also pleased to have the next generation involved.

Our eldest son, Lauchlan, is now working with us as our Senior Pest Technician. His easy-going nature, professionalism and practical approach have made him an integral part of the business. It's something we're particularly proud of as a family, and it means Core continues to be a genuinely family-operated business.
